Chrome Angel Eye Projector Headlights to fit:

BMW X5 (E53) (1998 to 2003)
(Right Hand Drive Only)

Angel eye rings are fitted with user-replaceable 3 Volt LED bulbs (one per ring). E53 was facelifted in 2004 and angel eye lamps were added as standard. NOT suitable for cars with factory-fitted HID headlights.

Wiring up angel eyes & LED sidelights: Connect all loose white wires from the base of the headlight to the loose white wire at the large connector in wiring harness; insulate joint. Repeat for loose black wires.

These lights are fitted with 2 adjusters - one for vertical adjustment and the other for horizontal adjustment

If the original lights have electric height adjustment the motors must be removed and transferred to the new lights. The pivots for manual adjustment on the new lights must be removed to fit the motors.

Connecting the angel eye: Join both black trailing wires on the angel eyes to the black wire (negative) on the sidelight bulbholder. Then join the black&white wires in the same way to the second wire on the sidelight bulbholder.

For safety reasons head lamps should be fitted and adjusted by a professional. These lamps are only legal for use in countries that drive on the left hand side of the road
